How to make the prompt engineering simple for non-technical users.
Challenge
When we began working on Makee in April, our goal was to make an app that simplifies the process of creating prompts and generating personalized, relevant images. We also aimed to make the app to be more social, like Giphy, where users can highlight jokes, celebrations or just their emotions.

Solution
After market research and getting feedback from a few users on our early designs above, we decided to adopt the chat feature that has gained popularity with ChatGPT. Our app will have minimal editing options and allow users to generate images effortlessly. To make it user-friendly, we added simple keywords at the bottom for users to choose from, or they can type anything they want to customize or add.
Results
Private Beta Testing
We are currently testing our first MVP with 30 users. We are facing technical issues with editing images after they are created. Our plan is to fix this problem and improve the relevance of keyword suggestions for generated images, using AI as well.
